Idly surfing I came across this website and this page: http://shop.cafepress.co.uk/rheumatoid-arthritis. Probably american based as I've never heard of the RA chicks but found some of the slogans amusing so thought I'd share with you all. I like "NSAIDs - Breakfast of Champions" and the car sticker "No. I'm NOT too young to park here" - perhaps we should get a bulk order or plagiarise!

I think RA Chicks started from a group on Facebook,

https://www.facebook.com/RAChicks

Some great slogans though :) I'm sure the great folks here could come up with a load too.

I'll never forget the chap who came to the Arthritis Centre in Birmingham Central library and the sheepish look he had when we told him that the "trouble with morning stiffness?" wasn't of the same variety he had enquired to one of the volunteers about.

Slogans we could use perhaps?

"NO I'm not to young to have arthritis!"

"No you don't get a bit of this in your toe in the winter"

Take care folks :)

I like the one that says "your understanding is appreciated but your medical advice is NOT ". Laugh

Thanks for posting this Eve.

I've seen the cafe press site before but never knew about all this ra stuff!

I love the 'I've got RA what's your excuse' and 'I may not look sick but you don't look dumb'. Just the thing we need when me meet the idiots out there- and we all know at least one of those.

I'm going to treat myself so I'll have another look when I've got more

Maria
